This is something I did long ago and thought it would be interesting to share with you.
My bookseller felt something boring, and as always thanks to the internet I came to cheer him up a bit. I usually read that they used paper to walls or something so, but I decided that fabric would be better. Armed with a coupon I went to buy fabric.
My husband helped me to remove the back of the Cabinet table. Luckily our furniture table was bolted, so it was super easy to pull it out, cover it with fabric and then put in place.
In this photo you can see back of the Cabinet with only some screws in place. It is a job best done between two, because you need someone a little pull fabric so that it will not to wrinkle while the other person puts screws. First put the screws, or nails if that is what your furniture has, in the corners (remember a little pull fabric to make something tight) When you are done you can paste back or cut excess fabric.
