On Saturday we celebrated the birthday of my daughter. The theme was Strawberry Shortcake. I've been planning then for a while. I found some great ideas on Pinterest, and this is the result. I hope it inspires you to create!

I made them with my machine Zing. I love how easy it is to do such things and look professional.

The cake is decorated with fondant. I tried to make the doll Strawberry Shortcake fondant but did not go as I wanted, so I had to improvise and put the doll to my daughter. The cake flavors were lemon and strawberry.

These are the bags where they were putting the little things that were gathering for the party; as they painted things, candies, and aprons. Again, here intervened my machine for cutting paper!

In this photo you can see I put candy on sticks of wood and then in a vase. It's a good way to decorate and then give the guests to be carried. I also made strawberry fudge, lemon bars, chessecake filled and chocolate covered strawberries, marshmallows con chocolate, raspberry lemonade and last punch. All very simple and easy to make recipes.

As first game of paint coloring pages Strawberry Shortcake while we waited for all the girls arrive. Then we played the game of "pin the tail on the donkey 'but on this occasion was called" pin the hat to Strawberry Shortcake.' After we had the game of 'bean bag toss'; for this I made a very big flower and some cloth bags filled with dried beans ( They were shaped fruits like lemon, strawberry, cherry, etc.) The yellow part was worth 5 points, Pink 8 points, and orange 10 points. Another activity we did was to corar cupcakes, this made them stop their own aprons which they could be. If you want to see how I made the aprons here are instructions.

If you have any questions about birthday, leave a comment! I will be happy to help.
